When planning the menu, Matt personally spends weeks creating, tasting and changing ingredients until the dishes live up to his discriminating tastes. Once the new menu is established, the staff takes on the task of trying them all and learning the new offerings. Then they are presented to the customers, while watching their reactions and asking for opinions. Once all the dishes pass these tests, they are set and ready to go. Matt has the unusual ability to make big changes and still maintain a balance in tastes and presentation.

Customers love the open kitchen that adds to the overall comfortable atmosphere. You can never go wrong with the regular offerings such as Colorado lamb, buffalo and trout. The ever-changing menu options will have appetizing titles such as capellini-wrapped pacific cod, roasted asparagus, autumn squash, herbed rabbit, curry scented tuna and grilled venison. The escargot gets rave reviews. The dishes feature foods produced within Colorado, and they are both creative and down to earth.

An impressive wine list was developed by Matt’s wife, Lisa, to accompany his delicious creations. The knowledgeable staff can help you choose the perfect wine to compliment your meal.

Relish is great for a romantic dinner or special occasion. If you’re going to bring the kids, be sure you opt for the earlier dining hours, as the later evening is really for the grown-up crowd. Reservations are highly recommended at this favorite restaurant.

You will hear nothing but complimentary words about the changes that have been made. Since the European owner, Alfonso, took over, The Swiss Haven is rapidly becoming known for its authenticity and superior Swiss cuisine to make it one of the best places to eat in Breckenridge, Colorado. The restaurant has been redecorated and very impressive changes have been made in the menu, food quality and service. Some customers have said that this is best fondue they have had in America, and just like what they get in the Alps. That is quite a recommendation.

Adults, kids, couples and groups will all have a fantastic time dipping and twisting delicious bread, tender meat and refreshing fruits in pots of cheese or chocolate fondue sauce.
