The resort is spread over four mountain peaks, Peaks 7, 8, 9 and 10. With an average of 300 inches of natural powder snow annually, Breck receives more snow fall than most of its competitors. Its 300 days of sunshine each year, offers beautiful weather, thrills and excitement for skiers of all abilities.

Beginners will want to start out with the Breckenridge Ski and Ride School. These lessons accommodate skiers of all ages, starting as young as 4 years old. They also offer ski and snowboard camps. First time skiers will start out on trails such as the Four O’Clock. This slope is the longest run on the mountain and travels for almost the entire length from top to bottom, covering 3.5 miles.

With the size of these mountains, the intermediate skier has a wide range of courses to choose from. Two of the favorites are Peaks 8 and 9. Peak 9 is not quite as steep and is it is advisable for those who are still learning.

If you are more experienced on the slopes and enjoy the truly challenging runs, you can anticipate shorter lines as you make your way to the less populated and more ambitious slopes. Freestyle skiers will definitely enjoy the five terrain parks and four halfpipes as they seek new thrills. Breck also allows snowboarding on some slopes.

Add a rod fee to fish at a reserved private ranch that you and your party have totally to yourselves. There are all kinds of waters out there, from the big, fast moving rivers to ponds and lakes that yield up big trophy trout, so you’ll be sure to have a great time.

A full day float trip takes you on the Colorado River to fish moving water, with a full riverside lunch in the middle of the day. If you want even more great fishing, try the overnight float trip, for two days of float and wade fishing with one night of camping by the river. A fireside surf and turf dinner, a hot breakfast, and lunch both days are included, with your experienced guide doing the cooking. All camping equipment is included, and you can choose cabins for a little extra.
